Expected generation depends on your location's irradiance, system capacity, orientation, tilt and system losses. Without that baseline, a monitoring dashboard is just a number without meaning.
Compare monthly, not daily
Daily output swings with weather. Monthly aggregates against a seasonal baseline reveal genuine performance trends and filter out normal cloud variation.
Act on deviation, not on noise
A sustained shortfall of ten percent or more against baseline, unexplained by weather, warrants a site check. Isolated low days generally do not.
